I was commissioned to edit the English text of this bilingual book presenting the work of the artist Yann Annichiarico, published by the École supérieure des beaux-arts, Lyon.
This project combined three of my great interests: translation – the English text was a translation of the original French; art and writing about art; and editing language in order to communicate as effectively as possible.
Talking to the artist about his work – which deals with perception, space, emptiness – revealed a whole new way of looking at the world.
