Hello! I’m Dina, and I work with words. I translate them from French and Italian to English; I knock them into shape by editing and proofreading English texts; I use them to express ideas in articles and reports, mainly about publishing and translation; and I weave them into stories for children.
My first picture book for children, And Eddie Had an Egg, will be published by Green Bean Books later this year. My first full-length fiction translation, of Avant que j’oublie by Anne Pauly, will be published in 2026 by Peirene Press and Two Lines Press.

I transform French and Italian creative texts into fluid English prose, keeping the spirit and meaning of the original. I specialise in the arts, film, books, social sciences and health.
I write fiction, in particular stories for children. I also write reader’s reports for publishers and articles about translation.
I edit and proofread English texts and review translations into English, ensuring clarity, readability and correct English usage.
As winner of the Martha Stevns Translation Prize 2025, I am delighted to be working on my first full-length fiction translation, Avant que j’oublie by Anne Pauly. My translation will be published by Peirene Press and Two Lines Press in late 2026.
