As an experienced editor and proofreader, I’ve worked on a wide range of texts: from news reports to corporate publications, and everything in between. I also review translations into English from French and Italian, to check for accuracy and correct English usage.
An editing project I particularly enjoyed was revising the English text of the bilingual (French and English) art publication Of Moths and Muybridge’s Scale by the artist Yann Annicchiarico, published by the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, Lyon. I was fascinated to learn about the artist’s work in order to better understand the text, and had the opportunity to discuss the text at length with him.
